Step 6:

Your file is now ready to download as a WEBP file.

Select the  "Download WEBP" link and your file will automatically download to your normal storage location.

If you are downloading multiple files of WEBP we recommend downloading each file individually, rather than selecting the "Download All" link, as this will create a zip file and increase your time to be able to upload to the site by virtue of having to extract the files.

Your high quality, high compression file is now ready to upload.

For more information on how to upload files, please see the images section or search in the article files above.

Step 5:

Your file will now be showing as per the image Fig.1.5, highlighting that it's ready to convert.

Next, select the "Convert to WEBP" button.

Note if you choose to convert multiple images at once, you can do this as per the same process above, however instead of selecting 1 image, you will select multiple images. At this point, you would select the button "Start Conversion"

Step 4:

Once you have selected WEBP as your conversion "TO" file type, select your file from your folder where you have stored the original file by clicking on the button "CHOOSE FILES". This will allow you to navigate and select the file.

Step 3:

Scroll down the page until you find the option to upload your original image.

Firstly, select the file type of your original image (in this example we used a .png file) from the "CONVERT" drop down menu.

Then, select your "TO" file type, which is WEBP. The webp file maintains a very high quality image whilst at the same time compressing its size for optimal speed loading times on your website.

Step 2:

Once you have signed up for the FREE account, log - in and navigate to the header of the page to locate the menu item "CONVERT".

Select "CONVERT" and this will take you to the Image Converter page. Pixelied allows you to convert nearly any image file to webp (our preferred high quality/high compression file for your website images). In the next step you will upload your image that you want to use for your blog and covert it from either .jpg or .png to webp. In this example we will be converting a .png to webp.

Step 1:

Image compression is critical to the performance of your website, it ensures you rank highly on search engines, your website pages load faster & the quality of your images remain high.

Before you log into your site, ensure the images that you are going to publish have been compressed from either .jpg or .png to WEBP format.

To do this, navigate to https://pixelied.com/ and "sign-up" for a FREE account.
